Life is good.
Today was warm, compared to how it's been for the past few days. I enjoyed going outside to switch the horses around, because it was windy, and I got this urge to run, so I did. I ran, I twirled, I skipped. It was simply wonderful.
I love grabbing my horses by the halter and swinging their huge heads over, kissing their soft, soft noses. I love the way they smell. I love their thick manes and coarse winter coats.
Right now I'm sitting here in my white and black striped shirt, my Faded Glory jeans, and eating a piece of extra sharp cheddar. We've got to go feed the horses in a few minutes - about thirty.
Dillon is doing well. I heard some idiot in a school bus heading West yell out the window at our dog as they drove by, "Hey, lame dog!" If I had been up there, I woulda given him what's what. Dillon may not be able to use all four legs, but he's not impaired by any means.
I love my dear friend. I was listening to a tape earlier that had us goofing off on it, and was simply laughing along. She means so much to me, and makes me smile. When I'm down, she tells me to "try smiling", and if I refuse, she says something to make me laugh. She's amazing. Don't take your friends for granted, guys and girls....
On a random note...I have got to get up on time in the morning! I turned my CD player up loud so I'd hear it go off...but that's the bad thing about having controls. Hit a switch, and the room goes quiet again. I'd rather have an mp3 player that went off by itself mysteriously! Oh well...I don't, so I'll just have to leave my CD controls on my desk. =)
Like I said, life is good.

Farewell to Joan
Joan just died a few minutes ago. We went up there to check on the chickens and she couldn't breathe right. She'd been acting poorly for the past few days. She was on the ramp and one of the chickens pushed her off, and she couldn't get up. I guess that knocked the breath out of her and she couldn't catch it after that. We brought her down to the house and she died while I was holding her.
Poor Joan. Yeah...I know it sounds ridiculous to be so upset over a chicken...I'll make it even more ridiculous: I cried. It was sad watching her not able to breathe. I'm sorry, but that's just the way it is.
Farewell Joan - you were a very funny little girl.

Saranghaeyo!
Which is "I Love You" in Korean!
Happy Valentines Day to all of you! =) I hope you're having a good day.
Dad got me some flowers from the gift shop, which was really nice; they're sitting on my desk right now. :)
I'm really enjoying my new haircut. I had lots of fun styling it this morning.
It's so windy outside today! Nathan and I went out there earlier to switch the horses around, and I went in the chicken pen to hold Joan, (who's not doing very well; she's been sick) and I about got blown away! Poor Joan. She went to sleep in my lap while I was holding her. I don't think she'll live much longer.....:( Oh well. Farm life.
Anyway. I don't have much else to say!
Have a great Valentines Day, and tell someone "saranghaeyo"! <3
Goodbye!

New Look!
Yep! I got a new do! Much shorter layers and a little more volume. It'll look better in the morning when I shower and style it the way I like, though. :) I LOVE the layers! I think it makes me look older, especially from a profile view:

Is It Just Me.....
...or does that dog look a lot like Pooh-Bear? =D
Well....dad decided on a name. *Sniff*....Dillon.
Oh well. Thus it was written, thus it was done. I shall have my vengeance and name the next animal that comes our way...>:D
We've been doing some HUGE cleaning today! I woke up this morning and randomly went, "Mom, let's make this a cleaning day!"
Hopefully some friends of ours will be coming up in July to stay a few days - and I did NOT want those devilish little dust-bunnies that hide under our furniture to sneak out at night and strangle them! When I say cleaning, I mean cleaning. Vacuuming the base-boards cleaning. Dusting the doors and fans cleaning. Washing every window cleaning. Scrubbing the kitchen floor on hands and knees cleaning. Straightening both decks and yard cleaning! And, as I type, mom's in the shower on her hands and knees defeating the dreaded Lord of Soap Scum!
....Needless to say, I'm tired. But, it's been nice cleaning. I like cleaning. It's...a hobby. =)
Oh well. Now I must go and tackle the Dirty Dish Duke that is waging a never ending battle in the kitchen. Then mom shall duel the Sticky Floor Master with her faithful weapon, the mop and rag.
Tootle-pip!

Crazy Dog
Well....we've done it again. Another member has been added to our ever-growing population of over-fed, luxury lived animals.
This time, he comes from the animal shelter. He's a Great Pyrenees mix, smaller than Marshall, and is lame in his front right leg. Apparently, before he arrived at the shelter, he had been shot in the leg; it doesn't hurt him, but he just won't use it.
But BOY can that dog run! He takes off like a bullet! He's two years old and very hyper.
Mom and I had gone to look at him a week or so ago, and really liked him. We tried talking dad into it, and at first he said no, but then yesterday, he, Nathan and I went to look at him. Needless to say....we bought him. :) He's so cute! We're still trying to pick a name for him. THEY want to name him Dillon....o.0
I don't like it....
Anything but DILLON!!!
Here's the rest of the list that they could choose from....
Vick
Dex
Ace
Dartanian (Dart for short)
Stunt
Buck (Rebekah's favorite)
Kirk
Personally, I like Vick and Ace. It just....suits him. =)
Oh well....we'll see what happens. They want to name him Dillon because we already have a Marshall, and the reason being from an old Western TV series called "Gunsmoke", where the marshal's name was....Marshal Dillon. :P
I'd rather name him something with a ring to it!
Anyway, enjoy the pictures!

Romans 8:28

A Little Bit of This and a Little Bit of That....
My Big Boy is growing up....
He's now eating grain - LOTS, of grain. ^.^
The weaning is going well; I think he's getting used to being separated from Belle, bless his heart. (It's sad to watch your little boy grow up, you know!)
Anyway. I can now play several songs in my piano book - in TWO lessons! My teacher is very surprised at how fast I learn, not to brag, and he said that his other students learn about one song a lesson...I learned six. I'm not trying to brag, here...I just thought that it's totally amazing how God gave me the gift to play by ear AND learn so fast! I'm already half way through the book in two lessons! =D =D =D
It's cold and gray outside right now; the wind is blowing. My hands are freezing. I wish for spring, spring SPRING! 0.0 Winter drags on and on and drags you with it! Oh dear.....
Also, guess what? Tomorrow will have been ONE YEAR since my surgery! I can't believe it! Already?! The clock goes on as ever....
God was so good to me through that. I wasn't scared. (In fact, do you want to know what I was thinking? "Oh, this'll be great experience for my writing skills! I can now accurately put my character through surgery! YES!") No joke. That's what I was thinking! Kind of crazy, I'll admit - but that's what I am, after all. :)
Now I'm healthy and, as always, kickin'. =D
The verse we're learning for memorization now is John 15:7:
"If you abide in Me, and My word abides in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you."
A very good verse to reflect on. Does God's word abide in me? Do I abide in Him?
Anyway....I guess I'll leave now. If you'll notice all of the posts under the label "Randomness"...You can see I can't think of a theme. -.- I'm sorry about that. I'll try to, soon!
Always Fighting,
-Han
