19th Birthday

So for the past few days, I've been having a blast and shopping and giggling and being ridiculous. ^_^ My dear friend Abigial from Texas came up to see me, and we made a day of it. (Well, four days, actually.) We went to the mall in Winston Salem and goofed off, bought matching tees, stayed up late, and had good conversations. It was really great getting to know her better. She's awesome <3
We walked in and out of stores all around the mall and listened to blasting music. We had an epic, epic time. I'm so happy she could come over.

What Is Love

Fourth of July 2013

     Last night we had 50 some people over for the Fourth. It was amazingly fun and enjoyable. It stormed for a bit with everyone over, and we were all packed in the house in various rooms talking and laughing and watching the rain pound the house. Thankfully, we have two covered porches, so some of us were able to sit out there while it rained. It's been very rainy here for the past week, so we were worried we might have to skip the fireworks; BUT - it didn't rain at all again until everyone was leaving!! God is very kind. :)
    Once again, the boys had their army man battle, and I was able to get some good pictures of that. We were missing a couple of people this year, so it was a little odd without them. We all had a wonderful time; the weather held out, the fellowship was great, and I just enjoyed all of the people. It was so nice to have everyone over; that's one of the highlights of my year.
     Christian friends are one of the sweetest gifts God has ever given to us.
