Just a Feeling

Yes! I just ran out into the rain! I had a childish moment, and this was it!
It started pouring, and mom and I were on the front porch, and I'm like,
"I'm gonna do it - I'm gonna run out into the rain!"
"Oh, no you're not!"
"Why? One good reason!"
"Because - you'll be wet!"
I grinned.
"That's the whole point!" And I leaped off of the porch into the rain! It was freezing, but absolutely magnificent! AH! I danced, I ran, and I sang -
"I wanna walk with you, dance with you, do everything with you, run around in the rain with you, every day now only you!"
It was wonderful! I splashed in the puddles and ran through the grass. Mom took these pictures - forever captured!

I'm still wet, in fact. I changed into dry clothes, but my hair is still wet...
It's just a feeling. Just a wonderful, amazing feeling.
Take it slow.
It's just a feeling, and it's got me singing 'yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah' - because it's just a feeling!
GOD IS SO GOOD!

FIGHTING!!!! *collapses into a happy heap*

Ghostly Nights

Last night, was a beautiful night.
I took that picture of the moon, and was inspired beyond belief to create it into a haunting picture. The yellow moon was just rising, and fog was creeping over it. Something hauntingly romantic was rising. Something that makes your heart cry.
And it did.
I stood out on the back deck, in the cold, in the dark, eyes fixed on that glowing orb.
I'll be there.
I whispered it under my breath, my heart wanting to cry, but tears never came. I watched, I listened.
I'll be there.
So far away... but, I'll be there.
Where you at? You've just got to let me know where you're at.

I'll be there... I'll hold your hand. I'll brush the tears from your face.
Baby, don't cry.

Fighting.

Sweaty Fun!

Extreme sweaty fun! Last night, my mom, myself, Bekah and Nathan went to a graduation party for a friend at church - we had a blast! It was in a park, and we all had the best time. I got to do a photo shoot with a friend, run around, and then, we got to do Postie's Jig! AH! *faint*
Postie's is one of my absolute favorite, and since the dance is next week, this was good practice! My mom took the video, but right when the fun started, the battery died. :P Oh well...
Enjoy it! And to all my sweaty, sticky friends, FIGHTING!

Of Notebooks, Elves, and Life

Photo from Google Images

Yes, I'm an elf lover, a dragon tamer, and a journeying writer that sometimes dives headlong into fantasy. I go through spells like that, you know?
There's something very attractive about elves... and dragons. I'm a dragon maniac. Yes, I am. I love dragons. I think they're amazing - and yes, I do believe that they were in existence. Some fearsome, fire-breathing - others gentle and big babies. ^.^ I'd love to own a dragon.

I had mentioned several posts back a notebook that I acquired sometime ago  -  this is it! I love this thing! And here's a few photos of what I like to put in it...

Yes... I enjoy doing things like this. :)
Yesterday, when I went to feed the horses, Silkie had gone buckwild, so I took a whole bunch of pictures of her. Crazy horse... (WARNING: Kids, don't try this at home... it could get you killed, like I almost have countless times.... =.= The things us photographers will do for a good picture.)

And here's my Max! Hasn't he grown! *faint* I love my boy! I was standing there petting him, and he turns around and snorts at me, as I had been relating to him my stressful day, and I pat his head sympathetically, "I gotcha boy..." I could of sworn he blinked at me with a dull expression...
Yes, yes... life is good. Slightly stressful and lots of headaches, but good.
Oh - and I got my hair cut the other day... the lady practically chopped it off! It's the shortest it's ever been! I don't have any pictures... yet. I'll try to get some!

Life is good, and God is good. I also go a Prayer Journal, which I'm already in love with - I can keep a recored of the people/things I pray for, and on the side, I have an "Answered:" section, where I can write down the date He answered. Amazing! I write down my prayers in it... so... hopefully, one day I can look back and see an answer to some of my most fervent ones. :) Get a journal!
Praise Him for our blessings!

Glasses!

Hey! Look! I got glasses today! I like 'em! In fact, I'm wearing them now. Nathan gave me the "Who are you!?" look when I walked in the door, and just now told me I look like a younger Baroness from G.I. Joe. ^.^

We went to Walmart to pick them up, and looked around for a little while. I got a cute top, some lounge pants, and a prayer journal.
Eeek! Another change! Where's my life going!? *faint* I won't have to wear them all the time - just for driving/distance. ^.^

I took a whole bunch of pictures for you to see... hope you don't mind. On demand by some of my friends, here they are!

Summer Walks

I went for a walk this morning and absolutely loved it! I told myself, "I'm going to go for a walk with Jesus." That's what I did. It was great!
The temperature is wonderful, and the breeze was ecstasy. I took 79 pictures just on that walk!
I talked to God about all sorts of stuff... my friends, my family, life, people across the world, and, yeah, my future husband. ^.^ I've actually been thinking about him a lot lately...
I went down to the river and sat there on a warm rock, feet splashing in the cold mountain water that rushed by. I kept wishing my best friend was there - we'd be having such a good time!
Ah, and I can't forget to mention that I was thinking about my Birthday next month. ... NEXT MONTH!? *faint* Uhg... my last month of being 16. And I say goodbye to sweet and sour sixteen. Kinda sad, actually. (I'm in the mood... listening to Secret Garden through my earbuds...)
The sun was warm on my face, and I sat back, closed my eyes, and listened to the rushing, gurgling water. I was in a cascade of thoughts, just as beautiful and as cold as the water that rushed over the rocks. Not sad thoughts... but very, very thoughtful thoughts. (That's my term for them...)
Thoughtful thoughts.
My mind was rushing just like that river. Jesus, prayer, friends, songs, family, Prince Charming, prayer subjects, older brothers, Heaven, drama, love, life.
It was all there - cascading, slipping away, all in a white foam and cold. Amazingly cold, yet beautiful. Lovely, yet foggy.
I enjoyed it so much. I loved it. I treasured it in my heart.

Where does life go? What is time, this strange stuff, that runs through our fingers like air?
Why is it so beautiful, yet so painful sometimes?
I love it. This stuff... I love it. My life becomes like drama.

The people in my world... I can say to them from "Remember When it Rained",
"Tears of hope run down my skin... tears for you that will not dry."

They are of hope... and they will not dry.
I am a warrior, and I don't fight alone.
"Don't cry - it may seem like you're alone, but look around you; you're not the only one."
Baby, don't cry. I'll smile if I do.
Because life is beautiful... because life is His.

Definition of "Cute"

I took this picture of my little buddy at church. He actually put on the pink glasses without having to tie him down. ^.^
He's the definition of "cute", and I think he'll grow up to be a fine young man!

Love ya, buddy!

The Difference Prayer Makes

"I got up early one morning
And rushed right into the day;
I had so much to accomplish
That I didn't take time to pray.

Problems just tumbled about me,
And heavier came each task;
"Why doesn't God help me?" I wondered.
He answered: "You didn't ask."

I wanted to see joy and beauty -
But the day toiled on, gray and bleak;
I wondered why God didn't show me,
He said, "But you didn't seek."

I tried to come into God's presence,
I used all my keys on the lock;
God gently and lovingly chided:
"My child, you didn't knock."

I woke up early this morning
And paused before entering the day;
I had so much to accomplish
That I had to take time to pray."

I love this poem. I adore it. It's so true!

And to make you laugh, here's something that I made as a desktop for the computer! Feel free to download it and use it as your own! (Picture from Google Images, of course. :)
