When is Enough Enough???

Tax his land,
Tax his wage,
Tax his bed in which he lays.

Tax his tractor,
Tax his mule,
Teach him taxes is the rule.

Tax his cow,
Tax his goat,
Tax his pants,
Tax his coat.

Tax his ties,
Tax his shirts,
Tax his work,
Tax his dirt.

Tax his tobacco,
Tax his drink,
Tax him if he tries to think

Tax his booze,
Tax his beers,
If he cries,
Tax his tears.

Tax his bills,
Tax his gas,
Tax his notes,
Tax his cash.

Tax him good and let him know
That after taxes, he has no dough.

If he hollers,
Tax him more,
Tax him until he's good and sore.

Tax his coffin, Tax his grave,
Tax the sod in which he lays.

Put these words upon his tomb,
"Taxes drove me to my doom!"

And when he's gone,
We won't relax,
We'll still be after the inheritance TAX !!

Uggghhh...I cannot believe that! Wait, I CAN!!!!

And the fact that 100 years ago none of that existed and we were in better condition...it's just crazy.

I think that pretty soon, we'll have to say that we live in the U.S.S.A. (United Socialist States of America)

Thank you so much for posting this Hannah. It's important that the younger generation be aware of the decisions that our nation's leaders are making these days. And to think that a hundred years ago we didn't worry about any of these taxes, that's not that long ago. May God help all of our dad's cope with all of these taxes!!

God Bless Texas, Abigail

Hi everyone! I'm SO sorry for not replying to comments lately; it's been VERY VERY busy and I haven't found time. :( I'm hoping this afternoon to do a post. :)
Okay. Now I shall reply:

It's crazy, isn't it?

No, I didn't write it. My mom found it off of a website.

Madison~
You're welcome. It's only by the Lord's grace and strength that I am able to do so. Thank you for reading! :D

Enjoy that freedom while you may. You and your future husband will have to pay for them when you have your own family.

Rachel~
No, I didn't. It is very good, though.

Susanna~
You're on the same page I am, friend! :D
