Inspiration has to come from somewhere!

And I totally agree with you. ^_^
My inspiration often comes from insane people... :P

1) Interesting.
2) I know from experience that getting the focus right in self-portraits can be quite difficult without a wireless remote (the "set timer and run and quickly get into position in front of the camera" method isn't the most effective way, but you use what you have. The self-portraits you took in the alley look interesting; that's a neat location. As you probably know, I live in the country too, so there aren't any alleys or city scenes by me; just the Mississippi and lots of farms.
3) I think my family may have more animals than yours now. :~/
4) Your blog design looks pretty good; nice job with it.
5) I don't know if you're interested, but here's a small photography blog I was invited to join:
http://ourcreativephotos.blogspot.com
It was recently made public, so now you can join too of you'd like; there's a weekly theme/challenge but it's not obligatory - you just post a photo for the challenge that week if you can (and I've been busy and don't have Internet access at home except for on my iPhone, so I haven't been posting photos for it very often).

Hey, Max!

A friend of mine actually took the pictures in the alley (Caroline - the one I mentioned earlier). It definitely would not have worked on a timer! =D Alleys, cities, and lights have ALWAYS intrigued me; I s'pose that's why I'd like to go to NY and take pictures up there. XD (And Seoul, and Tokyo, and....)

Haha! What kind of animals? You probably do... ours is just a 'hobby farm' of sorts. ;)

Cool! Yeah, I'll go and check it out. Thanks for the link; I might try it. What do you like to take pictures of the most?

Talk to you soon!
