The Day After Christmas...

My Christmas was GREAT!
I officially got a new upgrade from my point and shoot camera to an SLR Canon Rebel T3! MEEP!
I *love* it, to say the least. Yes, Christmas Day was amazing...

However...

the day after is a different story.
I'm sitting here in the dark by myself, while my mom and dad are nearly two hours away in a hospital. My aunt and uncle are here with us, so we're not, by any means, alone. My mom's had a 'mild heart-attack', as the doctor put it. It's not too serious, though, of course I'm upset about it.
*Please* be praying for her. I'm so stressed out right now. My head feels a little like those lights up there. :S
If you'd just keep us in your prayers, that would mean so much. I often get frustrated at God's timing with things - but I've *got* to remember:
"All things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose."

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas, and are enjoying the last few days of 2011. :)

Now - take a look at these HQ pictures!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve is already here. It doesn't seem like it, to me.

December has flown by so fast; it's almost scary!
To me, tonight looks like those blurred lights. It's elusive and undefined, but beautiful.

We spent the day at church for our Christmas Service, and being with friends was amazing. The warm hugs, the laughter, the smiles - I love my friends so very much.
Christmas is the celebration of Christ's Birth, and we should celebrate with all of our hearts. We give and receive gifts; but what has Christ given you this year? What have you given Him?
Tonight, I sit reflectively and replay the day, and I replay my year. I stand in awe before Him at His gifts, and feel ashamed at how little I've done for Him. I look at the smiling faces around me, and feel warm inside, even though a small sadness sets in as the sun begins to go down on 2011. And I look back, and I smile, and I take a breath, close my eyes, and pray again. 2012 is coming - and I am eagerly looking forward to it.

To my beautiful family and friends: I LOVE YOU!

Under One Sun

"There is nothing new under the sun"

I took this photo a couple of months ago, back in October; it's one of my favorites. It reminds me that every person all over the world is under one sun, and that sun is under the Son. Yes... we are all

Take Courage

These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.”

Shine a Light

Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

-matthew 5:16-

How I'm Feeling...

Ah, those random people that brighten our lives. ^_^
These gifs explain, far better than words, my state of mind right about now...

Obsessive over these dear children...

 Ditsy (Dit-see):
"Flighty and easily confused; mildly or harmlessly eccentric."
... according to the dictionary.

 Insanely happy for no reason!!!

Remember...

December

photo from Google Images

Winter skies are ashen gray; night heavens turn royal blue - pure white moon behind spilled ink trees; again I think of you.
Tiny frozen tears from on high drift ever down; a wind in the trees above, sighing quietly this sound,
"This is it, the time of White Love."

photo from Google Images
 It's Winter.
The snow is piling high, the wind is touching my face.
Winter.
December.
I love it in it's cold embrace. There's no other like it.

He has washed us whiter than snow - all in His WHITE LOVE.
Embrace Winter back and accept the cold kiss.
Listen to the sigh of the wind...

Below is something a friend wrote; I thought it was beautiful - it's one of my favorites:

"From the first moment, I finally realized fate had started
Why? Send into my destiny
Did you know? There is someone fond of you
I am too far away for my feelings to reach you

The snow is piling up towards the sky where the clouds dance
I’ll go anywhere with you
Everyday the birds are singing and the flowers are smiling at us
Go anywhere with me
You looked pretty yesterday, but I think you look best today
Did you know? To my eyes, you seem frail enough to be trampled
Now that I’m here, I’ll keep awake right next to you watching you
We met through friends and now I’m feeling anxious
There’s no one else for me I need you -
Arms spread out for you,
Let us ring the bell together - 1 2 3 - let’s go
Everyday the birds are singing and the flowers are smiling at us
Go anywhere with me - love"
