I Say Goodbye -(2010)-

Well people...this is it. Can you believe it? I really don't know what to say...
This year has been AWESOME, to say the least! I'm amazed at how fast it's flown by. It seems like only a couple of days ago I was doing my "Goodbye 2009" post.
So many things have happened this year in my life. Not necessarily 'big' events...it's been more of the little things, I guess. I've mentioned a few highlights of the year in the above video, but I want to type them, too. So...I shall. =)

1. In May, Max was born! I'm so glad he's part of our family now.
2. In March, dad and I went to the Father-Daughter Retreat in GA and had a really good time...it seems like the older you get, every time you go, you've got a different perspective on things, and pay more attention to the little details. The same with all of life.
3. I've grown a lot this year. Not only physically, but spiritually. I'm so, SO happy that I can look back on the year and see a progression. This is good! =D
4. In October, our dear cat Lemon died. Last year, two of our pets died in the same month, but this year, thankfully, only one. We miss that cat...but, hilariously enough, he was replaced only three months before by the showing up of a little furball that now is known as Shina. =) (I told dad that we are forever doomed to always have five cats!)
5. I got my keyboard!!! =D =D =D
6. I'm much, MUCH better friends with those I know. We're closer in SO many different ways than we could ever have imagined!
7. We got our "Chexy Chickens", as they are affectionately called. The 'chexy' part came from the little hen who's name is Chex, and then we turned it into a pet name for all of them. Don't ask why...family quirk. =D
8. At the beginning of the year in February, I had my first surgery. I never thought I would, which was a mistake! It wasn't scary, and I got through it wonderfully. My Angel was there. =)
9. I'm far more interested in photography and "Capturing the moment".
10. Do I dare say it? Is it possible? ...I'm even MORE dramatic than I was!!!! 0.0 =D
11. I've met new people, I know new names, I've made new friends.
12. I have a new, improved, invigorated love for music. What would the world be without music????
13. Life is good. God is good. I'm happy. I want to run outside and scream! I LOVE LIFE! It's got major mountains and valleys, but that's life, people!

2011 will have just as many valleys and mountains. Maybe a few more and a more frequent, maybe not. Who knows? God knows. I've got my family and friends there beside me. The Lord is with me. My Guardian Angel is with me. I've learned lots of lessons in 2010, and you can bet your buttons (or zippers, or snaps, or whatever it is you wear:) that there will be plenty more to come in 2011.
There will never, ever again in History be a 2010. Ever. This is it. We're in it. Guess what? There'll never again be a 2011. We're in it. Let's enjoy it. Even when we're upset. When I'm angry, or upset, or having a breakdown, which happens often, I have to keep reminding myself that IT'LL PASS! No matter what I'm going through at the moment, it'll pass, my life will move on, and better things are to come. Really, at the end of it all, even with all of the pretty frightening stuff that's going on in the world, the end result is that CHRIST. WILL. REIGN. What does that mean? THE BAD STUFF WILL PASS! It will! That's why 'real gold fears no fire'. That's my absolute favorite quote from the book "Safely Home". It's my life motto.
I was up at the barn earlier today, enjoying the warm sun and the breeze. It was so beautiful. I was thinking, "Wow, I'm a lucky girl! I get to live in such a gorgeous place, paid for. This is my home..." And I've got so many pets that are absolutely, annoyingly wonderful! I've got a family that loves me, even though I can be horribly annoying. I've got a friends to laugh and cry with me. I'm in good health. I've got nine acres to run free on. I'm surrounded by nature and farm life. I've got a roof over my head and a wonderful, cozy room, which I just cleaned from top to bottom, by the way! I've got it all. I'm all in. It's mine. God has blessed me wonderfully. I am loved. And my dad is pacing back and forth and WON'T SIT DOWN! >.> =D

2010 has been a good year. I hope it's been for you, too. Let's see what happens in 2011.
God is good. He's let me live one more year. He's let my family live one more year. He's let my friends live one more year. We're in His hand. Forever.

Have a wonderful, safe 2011. Bring in the New Year praising God for your life. Don't forget.
Thank you so much for being readers of DeJaVu All Over Again, or more commonly known as WaitingRose. Most of you have been around since I started in 2008, three years ago this February. Many of you are new, and I appreciate your willingness to read the rambling thoughts of a 16 year old girl who's cup is overflowing with life. Hopefully, there will be many, many more posts to come in the year 2011.

God be praised!
Oh, one last thought.....

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!

Hiiiiii!!!! Wow! MERRY CHRISTMAS! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! (btw, that picture above is from Google Images...I didn't make it.:)
Here it is at the end of the day, dark, snowy...you know, this is the first time it's snowed here where I live on Christmas Day since 1947!!! 0.0
Today was pretty good; we got up with our usual schedule for Christmas Day, opened stockings, opened one present each, ate our annual breakfast of "monkey bread", which is kind of like biscuits with this syrup stuff on it, and then went to church. After that, we came back and opened the rest of the presents. Here's what I got:
A KEYBOARD!!!!!! YEEEEEEESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!! I haven't stopped playing with it since! WOOHOO!
Some black eyeliner, mascara, eyeshadow, cherry blossom and ginseng shampoo, facial cloths, TONS of chocolate, hand warmers (YAY!), a REALLY neat Japanese coffee mug and hand held fan from a friend at church, a little notebook with Japanese design, a really amazing vase from my Grandma that's Japanese and has horses on it, a bunch of neat trinkets from my friend, an amazing Celtic CD from my sister, a huge, wonderful, over-sized hoodie from my brother, and, of course, the keyboard. A good sized loot--far more than I deserve!
It was a bit rough this morning...as usual, Satan was busy trying to wreck the day. He succeeded for a while, but I think things are OK right now.
I'm sorry that my Christmas Post it late; we were so busy yesterday, and again today, that I just didn't have time. Listen, as we celebrate Jesus' Birthday, be careful if your driving--over here, it's really snowy! Eat lots of good food...especially chocolate...>.> What am I saying?! Don't let Satan destroy your day. Mine was pretty tough this morning/afternoon. It's not worth it. At all.

As we start the New Year, 2011, let's face it bravely. I've no idea what's coming...none of us do. But with God, family and friends by our sides, we can make it. God is there. He'll always be. Don't forget.

I love you guys so much! You've been such faithful blog readers; I really do appreciate you! Let's run headlong into 2011 with joyful hearts and praising God!
Also, as a prayer request, I'd like to ask for you to pray for my dad--he's been having a really, REALLY tough time lately in a lot of things...it's wearing him down and it's wearing us down. Your prayers would be GREATLY appreciated.

I'd like to thank all of you faithful blog readers, and, of course, those of you who only get around to reading it every now and again. =D Thanks for taking the time to read my rambling thoughts...some of you have been with me for almost two years! I'd also like to thank my family. Guys, it's tough sometimes, isn't it? Hey, but we'll make it. We've made it before, right? We'll do it again.

Once again, just, thanks. You guys are great. =) Have a wonderful rest of Christmas, and a blessed, joy-filled 2011!

Love,
-Hannah

Dear Jesus,

Thank You for Your Birthday. Thank You for coming and dying for not only my horrible sins, but for all of the millions You have died for. Thank You for Christmas.
Lord, please bless all of my dear, dear friends; help them to follow You closer. Thank you for my sister, for bringing her into my life. Thank You for my family. Help us to...turn around, I guess. There's been so much stress, and it's, well...killing us. Please help us, Lord...we can't do it by ourselves. Thank you for 2010. It's been an amazing year...even the bad parts. Help us to face 2011 with vigor and strength. Help us to look to You, Jesus.
Oh God...thank You for life. It's hard sometimes. Really hard. I had a meltdown yesterday...there's so much going on. Actually, my meltdowns are recently much more frequent. Please, Lord...please help me. Help all of us. Thank you that I'm me. Thank You for putting me where I am. It's exactly where I belong.
Lord, I pray for the situation in Korea. They need help, God. Please straighten this out. That's another thing that's got me stressed. There's so many people over there, on both sides, that'll be hurt and killed if a war breaks out. Please protect your saints, Lord, and bring those who are not yet saved to You.
Protect all I know, Lord, and walk with them. Walk with us. Revive America, God...turn us back to you.

I love you. Thank you for 2010....

Hello Hello Hello!!!!!!

HI! Wow! It's been FOREVER!
Not to fret...a Christmas post is on it's way December 24th! (If at all possible...)
Life has been GREAT! I've been immensely enjoying these last few weeks in the year 2010. Can you believe it's almost over!? Where does the time go!? Alright, I'll save my musings for my Christmas post. At the moment, I wanted you all to see the work I've done over the last couple of weeks. I've taken to creating my own slide-shows, and have a few done now! So here they are for you to see; I hope you like them as much as I do! Note: I DO NOT OWN ANY OF THE MUSIC. NONE. AT ALL. The program I'm using is goofing up and won't let me add text to the photo; it did for my first one, and then won't anymore, so I can't add credits for who owns the music, etc., which is why I'm sticking it below every video. =) ALL photos are mine; not taken from the Internet. If you'd like to use some, please ask my permission first.

Enjoy these, guys! Have a great rest of 2010 and a wonderful, amazing Christmas!

Love forever,
-Hannah
This is the first one ever I've done...which is probably why the music keeps going. ;P The music is by Kevin MacLeod.
This is my third one, made for dad. He really liked it. =)
Once again, Kevin MacLeod.
Okay, this is one of my favorites! I was standing in the kitchen one morning with mom, wondering what other slideshow I could do.
"Mom, I need an idea for another slideshow..."
She said she didn't know, and then goes,
"Hey, you ought to make one with the cats and "What's New, Pussycat?".
THAT'S IT! This is Tom Jones' "What's New, Pussycat?" set to our...pussycats. *grin*

And this is for my adorable 11 year old sister. =D
This is her FAVORITE song...don't ask me why, but it is, and she wanted
a slideshow of her with this song...so...here it is!
Music: Smile.DK--Butterfly.

This one is sort of an "advertisement", I suppose, for my photography blog.
I LOVE this one! It's my FAVORITE! The music: Immediate Music--Rising Empire.
And finally, the Best of 2010 slideshow. This is put together with the best photos taken in 2010, and since we're coming to the close of the year, I supposed this would be a good time to post it. :) This isn't the best one, and it was massively hard to try and get the pictures to go with the music...which is why it failed, to an extent. ;P Anyway, enjoy!
Music: X Ray Dog--Time Will Tell.

First Snow of 2010!!!

WOOHOO! I'm so excited and overwhelmingly delighted! We got our first snow of 2010 on Saturday! Though not a huge snow, it still covers the ground and IT. IS. FREEZING! This morning, up at the barn, dad said it was 15 degrees. Tomorrow it's supposed to be 11! 0.0 YIPE! News Flash: Last night, I actually went to bed with socks on....I NEVER DO THAT! I've got six fleece blankets on my bed, plus the hoodie I wear, the flannel PJ bottoms, and the countless pillows that I bury myself in at night. =D (Plus my two cats, one on one side, one on the other...) I have to dig for 10 minutes to get out of my pillow-and-blanket-and-cat hole before getting out of bed in the morning. =) Right now I'm wearing my black lounge pants, my brother's thick socks and a black and white striped three-quarter length shirt that my BFF gave me. Oh, and a thick navy blue hoodie. I love the snow!!! (Until it lays around for months on end...then I want it to go!) This is Max's first snow, and boy did he get excited! At first, he ignored the strange flakes of white stuff falling from the sky. Then he began to get curious once it started building up on the ground. At that point, he began to eat it. Then he began to paw at it. THEN he took off around the pasture in kicking fits with Silkie! He's GORGEOUS! Black against white...can't get any better than that. Silkie was also rather tickled. She bucked, reared, ran, spun...anything you can think of. Then she actually talked to me in quiet nickers when I said, "Come on, girl! You're too old for this!" (She's 7.)

Also, the other day, Max cut his shoulder really bad on a piece of tin we've got covering the electric box. We've been having to spray antibiotics on it twice a day every day, and then every other day, we have to give him a shot in the neck. Not fun. But, like I told dad....he'll be used to pain! The cut is gross. It's long, wide, and completely...disgusting. Poor boy. I hope he gets better soon!
Christmas is coming! I can't believe it! Mom wrapped the presents yesterday, but she didn't label them...*growl* We're old enough now so that we can pretty much guess what we're getting...especially when huge, mysterious boxes arrive everyday of the week. >=D So...she didn't label them. Oh well. I've boxed up and am getting ready to ship out a couple of presents for my dear friends, so they'll be happily receiving them in a few days! (And to the friends I'm talking about...DO NOT OPEN THEM UNTIL CHRISTMAS! THAT'S AN ORDER!!) =D
On a slightly different note...I guess most of you have probably heard about the stuff that's going on in Korea. We need to be praying. Seoul is only 30 miles from the NK boarder, and the president of South Korea suspects that NK will once again fire, but this time on the capital. Let's be praying that doesn't happen, because if it does, then WE'LL be getting involved, as will China and Russia, who are both on North Korea's side. Even if that does happen, who do we trust in? God, or man? You had better have said 'God', because if you didn't, you and I are going to have a serious disagreement....
God is our trust. He knows what He's doing. Prayer is the most powerful thing on earth, so we SHOULD PRAY! C'mon, start a prayer chain! Why not? The things we should really pray for are, of course, that a war would not break out, if it's His will, and that He'd keep people on both sides safe. Millions of Christians in North Korea can't do a thing about it and are on the top 10 persecution list. Then you have millions of Christians in South Korea. And America. And China. And Russian. And all of the nations. We need to pray. I can't stress it enough.

Alright. Now that that's out of my system. =) Who's excited about Christmas? If you said "ME!", GOOD! Let's enjoy the holiday as much as we can! Satan loves trying to destroy, mess up and stress out families around this time of year, doesn't he? (Trust me...I'D KNOW!) Let's slow down, take a deep breath, and enjoy it. After all...this is the only Christmas in 2010, and this year is almost GONE. (I can't BELIEVE it!0.0) Let's love it as we live it, and laugh along the way, shall we? After all...we'll never have 2010 again. There's only one 2010 in all of History...and we're in it.
Love you guys and have a wonderful Merry Christmas! I probably won't be posting again until then, so keep a look out for me around Christmas!

Love you!
-Hannah

Here's some cute pictures of things that have gone on in the past couple of months. Moments I capture, angles I tried, and little furballs that are forever frozen in the memory of a photo.

(btw, my new favorite drink is a StarBucks Frappucino!)

Monsteh Cat! 0.0
...and this is what happens when I take a nap on my couch. Shina is there in a flash! (Rebekah took the photo.)
Max yawning. So cute. *grin*
Yui enjoying using me as a perch....
...can't I get a moment's rest without this cat using me as a pillow?
A wall of clouds over the mountain.
Setting up the Christmas Tree.
Now HOW can you resist THAT!?
Everywhere you look...
There she is! And I must give my dad a big round of applause on this one...he usually HATES it when one of the cats climbs in his lap, but he sat there and petted Shina for a long time. Yay, dad!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!

Amazing Video!!!

WOW! This video is AMAZING! Mom found it and showed it to me this morning. This is in your typical mall...and this is what happens!

Can you even begin to imagine what it would be like if it were like this everywhere?! Maybe this is a tiny glimpse of what it will be like when Christ comes to earth again!!!!!!!!

Merry Christmas!!!!!!!

Happy 30th Birthday, Red!!!

Today would have been Red's 30th Birthday. :( Poor Red...I miss my boy.
We only had him for about three years, but it seemed SO long! He was really the only one I could ride, and I'd always go up there, get on his back, and just...sit. :) It was nice. It really was.
Max has taken Red's place some, but not completely. I was THRILLED to find out that Max was a boy when he was born, just for that very reason. Once he gets old enough, he'll be trying to become King of the Hill in no time. =)

I love you, Red!!! You'll always be my boy! Happy Birthday!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!!!!!
Today was a pretty good day. Mom and I worked like crazy to get everything done, and sure enough, we did! Now it's 6:17 at night, dark, cold and windy outside, and I. Am. FULL. =D (No supper for me, people!)
Some of our extended family came over, and we had a really good time. Two of my cousins that I don't get to see often, and love very much, got to come, and we talked and had great fellowship. After lunch, (more like a feast!), we did this thing we had done a few years ago, where we each have six colored "rocks", (more like the glassy decorative things you buy in the stores:), and passed a vase around the table, one at a time saying something we are thankful for, and putting the rocks in the vase. Just a fun thing we did. =) I'll list a few of the things I stated in a minute.
On that note, I want to post some Scripture verses that dad read earlier this evening.

Deuteronomy 8:10:
And you shall eat and be full, and you shall bless the Lord your God for the good land He has given you.

 Psalm 100:4:
Enter His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise! Give thanks to Him; bless His name!

Psalm 107:22:
Let them offer sacrifices of thanksgiving, and tell of His deeds in songs of joy!

Colossians 1:12:
...giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints of light.

That's what we should be doing on Thanksgiving. Now I want to list some of the things I'm thankful for:

1. My salvation. That Christ chose me from before the foundation of the world, and that I will never, ever lose my salvation.
2. The Bible. That we have God's own word in our hands, and that we are so privileged to be able to read it.
3. Family; immediate and extended. Parents, siblings. That I've got the chance to be raised better than my parents were, (and have parents willing to do that!) and I have a head start in a wicked generation.
4. My best friend. For all my friends! For those who, aside from my parents, are there to walk with me on the same road. Friends trip together, and get back up together, and keep fighting. ALWAYS thank the Lord for that person in your life that you'll always have to be friends with...you know too much about him or her! >;)
5. The roof above my head and the clothes on my back. The warmth of my bed that I will be able to crawl into tonight, safe and sound, knowing that I have a God who will always provide for me and watch over me, and that my Guardian Angel will be there.
6. For my church family, those who we grow in Christ with. We have our fall-backs, our mess-ups, but hey...we're brothers and sisters! We're a family! We have a Father who corrects us, turns us around, and keeps us going!
7. That I am so blessed to be Homeschooled. That my parents were called by Christ to do this.
8. For life. FOR LIFE!!!! LIFE IS GOOD! LIFE IS AWESOME! LIFE IS THE MOST AMAZING THING!!!!! LIFE IS AN ADVENTURE!!! LIFE IS DRAMA!!!
9. For where I live. For the fresh, mountain air I breathe everyday. For all of the little things in life, like a hot cup of peppermint tea, a mug of caramel macchiato or peppermint mocha, the flowers you pick in spring, the small breeze that kisses your face, the moment you close your eyes and take it all in, the nicker of a horse, the sensation of hot water from the shower head waking you up, the warmth of a hoodie wrapped around your body, the quiet moments in the morning where the people in your mind are there with you in your room, and you talk to them, you talk to yourself; your thoughts are so loud, it's almost like you're actually talking, the moments you get to read the Bible, God's Word, and think about it. The sound of your family talking in the other room as you sit at the computer, your fingers tapping the keyboard, watching the words appear on the screen, the sound of the wind moaning around the corner of the house, the wind chimes eerily singing....
these are the small things I love. (For horse kisses, too!!!!!!)
10. Thoughts. Feelings. Emotions. That I'm a girl! That even though tears come when you're sad, they almost seem to revive you. That I'm so full of emotions sometimes, I want to explode! That sometimes I just want to run into the wind and scream and spin, loving life and everything in it.
THANK YOU LORD, FOR LIFE!

Well....Red died one year ago today. I can't believe it! 0.0 My poor baby...I still miss him. If you'd like to watch the slideshow for him again, you can go here.

Also; this post was published on a timer...so I'm not back yet. :) Two months to go. The things that ARE published are on timers...I'll let you know when I'm officially back. Sorry about such a short notice on this...it's the way my life goes.

Love you SO much!!!
