You're Time....Is Running Out!

Alright people!
Where are my story entries? I've only had one so far. A friend has told me that he only has to edit his and he'll send it in...surely more people are going to enter than just two?! :(
Oh well, it's the 17th...you ONLY have FOUR more days, and at midnight, this contest is closed.
If you have a story to enter, I would advise that you enter it VERY soon! :)

Thanks!

In Christ,
~Rose

I didn't know you were having a contest till today, and I won't have time to write something for a while. Can I turn in a story I wrote a month or so ago? Some of it needs touching up, but it is readable. And, should I send it as a word doc.? We use apple computers, so I have it in pages, but I could export it. Or do you just want the whole e-mail to be the story?

Yes, you can send what you have in! You could possibly touch it up a bit in the next four days, and then send the whole thing as an e-mail so that I can copy and paste it to my blog if it wins.

Thanks!
I'll look forward to reading it!

Oh, a note that Rose may have not mentioned. There is a fourteen page limit, right? If you wrote your story a month ago, then it may not qualify, under those rules. Either a revision of the rules, or a little more editing may be required. Just a thought, just in case, you did not look back and see the rules from the first post. If you already know that then never mind, I am wasting everyone's time.

Well, like I said, I definitely WOULD, except you know I don't like giving out my e-mail or anything. ;-) I would absolutely love to enter, but not only do I not like giving out my e-mail, but I'm also one of the worst writers you'll ever come into contact with. :P So, yeah. Oh well!
I'll 'see' you soon!

Robert-
Just a question; What does that have to do with a month old story? Fourteen pages is the max; if you're saying that it is probably longer than 14 pages because it was written a month ago, then you're right. She will have to downsize.

Madison~
Aw, I'm sure that there are other writers worse than you! ;)I bet that if you tried hard enough, you'd make a good writer!

Lauren~
I hope you make it! :D Can't wait to see the story.

No. I was saying if she did not know about the contest till you made this post reminding us...then it would follow that she may not have seen your rules in the first place. Now I am not sure if you have all ready told her about the rules, but with the information I had it seemed quite likely that she had not seen the first post. I just thought I would try to help. But seeing as though it does not seem to have alarmed you, I now assume that you have told her, and I have been wasting my time and not really helping. Another "Sherlock slip" as I think Courtney put it, playing off my original "Call me Sherlock" line.

Okay, thanks, Sherlock! ;)

Oh yes I defiantly remember you! How have you been?
I hop you get a lot of entries for the writing contest. I really don't like to write, and I don't have any time to if I did, but I look forward to reading the story of whoever wins.

I'm sorry you can't enter, but don't worry...Lord willing, I'll hold another one in 2009!

Marie~
That's good to know! I've been doing fine. How about you? Maybe next year you can enter.

Have a nice day!

Hello Rose!
Thanks for your comments on my blog! It doesn't matter at all that you commented on an older post! :-)
It IS encouraging to know that there are other young ladies out there who want their life to be pleasing to the Lord! One of the reasons that I started the blog is that I noticed that a lot of young ladies truly want to follow God, but they only have the principles (such as "be modest" or "be respectful") without any particulars of what that looks like.
Unfortunately I can't update my blog very often, but I do try to write at least once a month. :-)
Thanks again for your comment! Have a great day! (Oh, and I love the polls you have on your blog!)

Hi Joy,
It's so nice to hear from you! I'm glad that you came for a visit. :)
You are right, I do believe that many girls want to follow Christ, but they just don't know how. I too try and put up posts about such things.
Thank you again for coming by, and I'll visit your blog when I can.

Have a nice day!
In Christ,
~Rose
