Angel in Our Midst

I drew this picture today about an angel protecting a person in a car wreck. I love it. I adore it.
It's sorta a sketch, so - yeah, it's not very detailed. But you can barely see the angel in the background, with his arms wrapped around the person. (This is supposed to be at the moment of impact.)
On the back of the picture, I wrote:
"A reminder that angels are all around us, and that God isn't finished with us yet."

I love the song "Prayer" by Haley Westenra - the lyrics seemed to go with this drawing...

Let your arms enfold us
Through the dark of night
Will your angels hold us
Till we see the light

Hush, lay down your troubled mind

The day has vanished and left us behind
And the wind - whispering soft lullabies
Will soothe - so close your eyes

Let your arms enfold us

Through the dark of night
Will your angels hold us
Till we see the light

Sleep, angels will watch over you

And soon beautiful dreams will come true
Can you feel spirits embracing your soul
So dream while secrets of darkness unfold

Let your arms enfold us

Through the dark of night
Will your angels hold us
Till we see the light

Remember that angels are always around us, even though we don't think twice. Did you ever wonder how many times our lives are in danger throughout the day? But that angel is there, just where God placed him...
There are Angels in our Midst
