The Simple Woman's Day Book: Week Four

Hi everyone!
I'm very sorry for not posting in a while; we've been very busy getting ready for the Father & Daughter Retreat and all. :) I'm very excited! Unfortunately, I don't have time for a long post, so I'm just going to do a Simple Woman's Day Book. Once again, I am sorry. I will try and post more diligently. :)

God bless!

For Today: March 7th, 2009
Outside my window: Spring!!! *is very happy* It's sunny and in the 70s. The birds are singing like crazy and the air carries in it all of the wonderful smells of spring.
I am thinking: About finishing this to feed the dog. :)
I am thankful for: Spring!
From the kitchen: Water fountain and some peaceful Classical music.

I am wearing: Light blue skirt and pink shirt with flowers on it.
I am reading: Stepping Heavenward (still), my Bible and Doomwyte. (A Re dwall book)
I am hoping: To go for a walk this afternoon.

I am hearing: My keyboard, computer vent, water fountain, Classical music and the washing machine.
Around the house: Clean!

One of my favorite things: My Purity Locket from Vision Forum.
I accomplished since last week: Making my bed when I get up.
A few plans for the rest of the week: Well, it's Saturday. I guess getting ready for church and possibly going on a walk.

Here is something special that I'm sharing with
you:

"A woman is like a rose: you treat her well and take
care of her, she
'll blossom.
You don't...she'll wilt and fade away."
(Quote from Fireproof)

P.S. I tried to leave you another comment, but I don't think that it went through. So if you get two comments from me saying the same thing, that's why.

I like that quote from Fireproof and so many more they talked about. :) That is neat that you want to go for a walk this afternoon, too! Me and my mom are hoping to do the same thing. :)

God bless, dear sister, and have a great day!

Rachel M.

Hannah,
I just love that quote! 'Fireproof' is one of my favorite movies. I commented on your blog a long time ago, and I have been meaning to email you, but time has just slipped through my fingers. I am a friend of Cassie R. I know that there are a lot of 'Hannah's in this world, so I just thought that I would specify which 'Hannah' I am:).
I think your blog is beautiful! Please keep up the encouraging posts!
I hope that you had a beautiful walk yesterday!
In His Care,
Another Hannah :)
I just started a blog, and I would love it if you checked it out.

I'll try and get over there.

Cassie~
So far, it's very good. I'm about a 1/2 of the way through it, and am really enjoying it! See you in a couple of weeks!

Rachel~
Fireproof is my FAVORITE movie. Period. :) I probably didn't get the quote exactly right, but it's as close as I can remember. :D
Have a nice time on your walk!!!

Sarah~
May I please skip it? We're just starting school and it's getting REALLY busy around here. :( I'll try and get it next time.

Hannah~
Nice to hear from you! I remember you from the last comment. :) Do you live near Cassie? She's such a dear young lady, isn't she?
Yes, there are a TON of Hannahs! Last year, at the Father-Daughter Retreat, there were 34 Hannahs. :) It was hard to keep track of them all!!
Have a wonderful day and thanks!!

I think my brother is reading that redwall book now...
I haven't actually read any of them yet. He likes them, but doesn't show much emotion in that area, how are they really?

I like them very well; they're full of adventure and excitement, but that's just my opinion. :) If you want, you can visit www.redwall.org and see some of the books. I got most of mine at book stores and so on. I believe that there are 23 in the series, and he's writing another to come out in October. Hope that helps!

Cassie~
Me too! I'll try and get to look at them later, but I don't know if I can today. :( (We're on a new schedule.)
