Psalm 103

This is an excellent psalm! It's one of my favorites, because, (well of COURSE!) like the rest of the Bible, it's so true.

1.  Bless the Lord, O my soul and all that is within me, bless His holy name.
2. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget none of His benifits;
3. Who pardons all you iniquities, who heals all your diseases;
4. Who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion;
5. Who satisfies your years with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle.
6. The Lord performs righteous deeds and judgments for all who are oppressed.
7. He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the sons of Israel. 
8. The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness.
9. He will not always strive with us, nor will He keep His anger forever.
10. He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
11. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His lovingkindness towards those who fear Him.
12. As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.
13. Just as a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him.
14. For He Himself knows our frame; He is mindful that we are but dust. 
15. As for man, his days are like grass; as a flower of the field, so he flourishes. 
16. When the wind has passed over it, it is no more, and its place acknowledges it no longer.
17. But the lovingkindess of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, and Hiss righteousness to children's children,
18. To those who keep His covenant and remember His precepts to do them.
19. The Lord has established His throne in the heavens, and His sovereignty rules over all.
20. Bless the Lord, you His angels, mighty in strength, who perform His word, obeying the voice of His word! 
21. Bless the Lord, all you HIs hosts, you who serve Him, doing HIs will.
22. Bless the Lord, all you works of His, in all places of His dominion; bless the Lord, O my soul!

October Nights

The moon has been absolutely GORGEOUS for the past few nights! I've been going outside, sitting in the middle of the drive way in the dark, watching the moon through the swaying branches, hearing the sound of falling leaves in the dark, beautiful pieces of music playing through my head. So lovely. Ah. :) This morning it was very rainy and dark, and I had left my window open all night, so during the night I'd wake up to the sound of pounding rain and howling wind. I'd roll over sleepily, glancing down from my loft bed into the dark room. I'd smile a little when I saw my floor-length curtains billowing in the breeze, and I'd snuggle in deeper to my covers, pulling the hood on my hoodie over my head, and then be back asleep and in the realm of dreams before I knew it.
I've been wearing this new hoodie mom got me all morning, as it's been so damp and cold! I feel good today. Working out helps. I was lazy last week and didn't do it, so this morning, I got up and DID IT! It really does make you feel better, even if you'd rather die before doing it.
Right now I'm listening to Rising Empire by Immediate Music, and it matches the view out the window; rain is pounding against the house, the wind is howling, leaves are flying from their branches. The perfect piece of music. My favorite. :)
   Yesterday's sermon at church was EXCELLENT. I'm hoping to do a post on it later. If you'd like to listen to it, go to my side-bar and there should be a link to it. Completely worth your time, so if you can, listen!

...There's a Cat on My Back

This is what happens when I hold Shina...she crawls down my back and...makes herself at home! The most mischievous cat on earth, top of the world, according to her, and she makes me her throne. Lovely.

No, I Did Not Leave....

I'm just being lazy! I've tracked this for a while now...every October, around this time, I don't post as much. I have no idea why. :I
Anyway, it's VERY windy here today! Leaves are flying EVERYWHERE like rain and it's c-c-c-c-cold! The farrier is coming fairly soon, so this morning, I put on a pair of my old jeans. To my delight, I found that they were so loose I had to wear a belt! YAY! =D Mom goes, "honey, I think we need to get you some new jeans..." I'm going, "Hey, I like wearing these loose jeans...it reminds me that I AM loosing weight!" But, back to the topic of farrier, I'll be up there at the barn with the horses for a while this morning. I love my horses. They're such AMAZING creatures! The Lord nailed it when He spoke of horses in Job 39:19-20. They've always been my favorite. When I was little, we lived in GA, and I really wanted a horse so bad. Of course, we didn't have enough land. I thought I'd never have a horse...now I have THREE! Ah...my babies. Max is growing like crazy. Belle and Silkie are growing their winter coats fast.
Shina and Jinx are sitting out on the front porch, and Nathan just went to retrieve the little whiner. That crazy cat doesn't meow...she WHINES. It's this pitiful little drawn out noise that makes you think she's dying. ;P She's so cute, though! She's such a little furball. :)
....excuse me, I'm going to go get my Pepsi that my brother just brought me....
Okay, I'm back. :) Now I'm going to ramble. You know something I hate? I hate it when my brother can be so funny sometimes, and make me laugh so hard, and when I say something funny, he just kinda goes, "Hm." What is it with that??? 0.0 You try hard to come up with a joke, and no body laughs. *growls* Oh well...thus is life. I know someone else who has that problem....<.<
Anyway. Yes, I'm rambling. Sorry.

Of Top-Knots and Keyboards

Okay, a strange combination, I'll grant you! The other night, I got adventurous and decided to do my hair in a top-knot. Completely goofy, but cute! Mom and Nathan love it. ;P :) (I'm actually wearing one now!) I've decided that this is my new style...for a while. And I'm NOT wearing it out anywhere as of yet! 0.0
Since I'm just sure you couldn't stand not to see it, I took pictures. =) Yes, you may freak out, now:

Alright.  And as to the keyboard aspect of it, I've been making up and modifying a whole lot more! I love that keyboard. :) Just wait till I hopefully get a really good one for Christmas! WOOHOO! The thing even teaches you how to play. 0.0

The first one is a tribute of called FireFront, and the second is one called China Dolls that I'm still working on. =) Oh, and as a p.s. to those of you who told me how good my playing was, though I don't know how, thank you! You guys are such an encouragement!

Fun Times

KEYBOARD!

WAH! My mom borrowed this keyboard
 from a friend, and I've been messing with it every time I get the chance! Okay...as a warning...I do NOT know how to play the piano...I just...mess with it. I CAN make up a tune on it, but I don't know anything about notes, hand positions, etc. I took some videos of this tune I came up with, so I'll put those up. :) Once again...I don't know anything about pianos...bear with me. :) Also, this is the FIRST version I did of this tune...there's another one, but it's longer. :)
The next videos are part of three I did called "Remember Them", but I'm only putting two up. 

Cold Comfort

Alright, excuse my play on of words. :)
It's SO cold! *shivers* I've captured my hoodie and toboggan and won't let them go! They're mine! All miiinnneee!!!!!

The leaves are disappearing like you wouldn't believe over here...by two weeks, they'll probably be GONE! Ah...I love fall. :) I took a bunch of pictures when I went to feed the horses, so I'll post them.
Today's been OK, but I've been in a baaaaad mood....*growl*...an' I don't know why. My elbow is killing me, too, because I was tying my hair back in a pony-tail and walking through the doorway when my elbow decided to collide with the door frame, which resulted in a lovely "crack" and me going "OH OW OW OW OOWW!!!" It didn't hurt that bad until later that night...that's when I realized I couldn't straighten it out all the way or put weight on it. Lovely. :I
Anyway...Other than that. I'm fine. :)
I'm not quite sure what to post...so I'll just put up pictures.

Say Goodbye

Lemon died during the night, but it was in his sleep; he was laying down and his eyes were closed. We buried him under our deck where nothing will bother him.
Good old Lemon. We've had him for six years and four months.

Hopefully, I can get a slide-show tribute arranged with one of my friends; I'll let you know if I can.
