Steve McQueen

Yes, this is our Steve McQueen.
Why that name? Well...he's our Escape Artist Extraordinaire.
My Best Friend got a kick out of it because Steve McQueen is one of her favorites - so - maybe these pictures will make her smile. ^.^
When this puppy sleeps - he SLEEPS. I have NEVER seen a dog so relaxed! Here's a few pictures, and a video at the end.

Anyway - not much going on. Just....life. It's been raining here for the past few days, so it's getting a little gray....mood wise. >.<
My Best Friend's birthday was yesterday, so I was happy about that - Happy Birthday, sis!
I get to see her REALLY soon, so I am extraordinarily EXCITED about that! (We are going to have a blast!)
So - girl's time out consisting of giggling, hopefully a peppermint mocha, if we can locate and attack a StarBucks, and BOOKS - lots of books! (Book fairs are the BEST!) Sooo...that's what I'm hyped up about. ^.^ I told her that I was going to make her suffer by ordering a shot of espresso in my mocha... >:)
Okay, not really.... =D And naturally, I'm looking forward to riding aalll the way down there with my mom. It's fun to go places with her. Hey - we might even go to StarBucks on the way! WOOHOO!

Prayer

Lord, I pray for whoever saw that sunset. I pray for them. I beg you for them. 
Whoever saw that, Father - give them hope in a dark world. Keep the lights from blinding them - protect their ears from the sounds. 
They need You, Lord - like so many. So many need You. Oh my God....save Your people. Show them the way. Never let them go. I know Your promise that You will lose none, and whoever the Father has given You, You will never cast out. 
So many are lost, Lord. It hurts my heart so bad. It makes me cry. There's so much turmoil, so much pain. Nations are starving, people are killing each other, horrible things happen. I know You know this - but it hurts. It hurts so bad sometimes. 
Father, I ask on behalf of so many people, I beg on their behalf, with all of my full heart, that You wouldn't let their last breath escape without bringing them into Your arms. I know, I KNOW, that you will save those You have called. 
I see people driving down the road and pray for them because they don't know where they're heading, and I don't mean map wise. I mean soul wise. It hurts. 


God, please heal. Please hear. Please, please help.

For some reason, I didn't think this movie would be very good....
WAS I WRONG! It's now one of my absolute favorites! I'm a horse fanatic anyway, so this really made me giddy!
My absolute and most favorite part is when they quote Job at the beginning, about the horse and his strength. It was really, truly breath taking.

Wedding Dress

Well, I attended my cousin's wedding yesterday, and got to be the photographer!
I had my shutter set on multiple shot, which means that for as long as I held the button down, it would take picture after picture after PICTURE. (As in, click-click-click-click-click...you get the idea.)
Anyway, it was VERY small, with just my family, my other cousin, and my "mae-ma". (That's what we call her.)
My cousin's name is Jamie, and his bride's name is Jamie, so that got pretty confusing! I loooved taking the pictures! Here's a few of them for you to see. I really enjoyed it immensely!

Bright Lights

I got this the other night - sooo pretty! Isn't it? Ah...I love it.

Put Yo' Hands UP!

Heeey! Look at what I made! *screams*
I looove this thing! I made it with some modeling clay I had left over! I've never sculpted a hand before - this was my first try! Yes, yes - some of you think this is rather morbid...but...I LIKE IT!
I JUST finished the bottom side of the hand a few minutes ago, which is why it's still wet - and I've still got dry clay on my fingers!

Ah man...I LOVE this thing. I really, really do. ^.^

Dancing in the Rain

Woot! It's RAAAINIIIING! (And do I mean RAINING!) Sheets of rain are coming down! It's 10:50 in the morning and it looks like it's about 8:00 at night! It's dark! The wind is howling!
Last night, it was sooo cool - I was sitting in my bed with my little lamp on, reading through my journal, and listening to the wind POUNDING the side of the house. Ah! It was amazing! I really, really enjoyed it!
Mom just hollered from the kitchen, "It's NASTY!"
Yes, it is, but I love it. ^.^

I've been sketching a lot lately - last night, while we watched an old movie called "Attack", I grabbed my book and sketched my old time ninja friend, "Snake Eyes". (He's very important to me, you know...)
It turned out very well, if I do say so myself!

Today I believe I shall sketch some more, read, play thunder-centered themes on my keyboard, and putter about my room. I love my room! It's like my own little house that I'm in charge of. And, to my d-lite, I'll be hearing from my best friend this afternoon, and another dear one from far away!

This morning, Nathan and I went to take care of the horses in this horrifically wonderful storm, and after we were done with that, we danced in the rain. (Well, at least I did...Nathan SPLASHED in the rain...) It was sooo fun! Especially since I had that dream the other night where I really DID get to dance in the rain! It was GREAT! God is so good - Life is good! I'm haaaappppyyy!!!!! *bounce bounce*

Well, I'm off. I'm gonna grab me some coffee, since I was NOT a coffee prince this morning in getting it first thing, and then I'm going to go in my room and adore the rain.
