Light in the Sky
The moon was absolutely breath taking Saturday night. It was amazing. My Best Friend had excitedly told me over the phone earlier that day how gorgeous the moon was going to be that night, and it fit perfectly with our conversation of how amazing God is and how good life is at this moment and time. I told her that we'd both have to run out there and look at it, and on my part, I'd be taking lots of pictures! (Trust me...I took 144! 0.0) Anyway, it was gorgeous. Simply gorgeous. I kept looking for it to rise, and finally, as we were sitting in the den, mom looked out the window and said, "Hey, there's the moon!" I snatched up my camera and made a dash for the back deck. No lights, nothing! All dark except for that glowing gold orb. It was GREAT! The tree frogs at the creek below us were singing away, and I laid on my back on the deck, watching, snapping pictures, smiling, and saying "Thank you." It was amazing. Totally amazing. I hope my girl was able to do the same thing. ^.^
God is amazing. The sky is absolutely His canvas. Sadly, my camera can't capture it all...but do enjoy these few selected pictures!!

Day By Day Photoshoot
Yesterday at church, my friend "Jinx" (don't ask...looong story!) and I did this amazing photo shoot in the alley behind our church. The alley was perfect! White walls, the paint chipping off to reveal red bricks, and the kind of place you'd spot for a movie scene where there could be a great fist fight between two people and their friends trying to break them up...*sighs dreamily* ...Okay, yes, that was random...but it WOULD! =D =D =D
At any rate, this was GREAT. Perfect setting for a touch of drama. Jinx was for more of the "smile nicely but still look stylish" photo, but as you can see from mine...well, I was more for the "dramatic air of a heartbreaking drama" - what can I say? That's me. =) Jinx takes better photos than I do - I had to have her take MANY shots of me to find the best one. I think I was kinda distracted....if I were more relaxed, it would have been better. Here's only two of the picture - go to my photography blog for the rest! (www.hannah-leighphotography.blogspot.com) (I GIMPED mine - I still have to ask Jinx if she wants me to do hers...so that's why mine look different:)
Have a great day!

Busy Little Bee
Well...Max got a visit from the vet yesterday - he wasn't too happy. :S
It was......interesting, to say the least. The girl who came has been out here several times, so we know her pretty well. She didn't bring an assistant, so guess what? She asked ME to help. 0.0 Lovely. Right in on the action. :P She gave him an injection to make him drunk first, and then gave him another one to knock him out. (Which worked, might I add!) She put a towel over his eyes, and, well...I won't go into the rest. :) Needless to say, it was pretty gross! Oh well...FARM LIFE! So, I got to help. (Only a little, though - THANKFULLY!) Dad and Nathan stayed to the sidelines, of course, so it was just me and her....and the knocked out horse that was making pitiful, and I do mean, PITIFUL, noises. (My poor Max!)
It was actually pretty funny after she had left, and mom had come up to the barn. Max was up and about, and so I went to meet them at the gate; from a distance mom goes,
"Are your hands red?"
I wave both bloody, sticky hands at her, grinning.
"YEP!"
She responds with a heart-felt "GROSS!", while I laugh. I know, I know...I'm totally and absolutely weird!
At any rate, he's up and about today - I'm sure he's not feeling top of the world, yet, (how would YOU feel!?) but he is running around and acting like himself. Good ol' Macomy Dee! (His nickname, for your info...)
So...not much else. This afternoon, mom and I are going downtown, and I'm gonna get my first pedicure! Okay, so it's not a big deal...but it's something new, and besides, it's good to have nice feet! ^.^
Getting ready for the Father/Daughter next week...as well as three days before that, babysitting. My week will be PACKED. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, babysitting ALL day - Thursday through following Monday, Retreat. Yikes...
On a random note: on the way to GA, I'm hoping dad and I can stop at a Baskin Robbins! I've never been to one before - that'd be COOOOOL! =D (Sorry, I'm HYPER!)
Anyway, tootle-pip, chaps! I'll catch up with you later!
Always Fighting,

Surprise, Surprise - Pretty Surprise for Cinderellie!
Yes! Another do! I decided to be horrible and do something "unknown" with it RIGHT before the Father/Daughter Retreat! 0.0 (That's me, for ya!)
Anyway, here it is. I like it...though I think I'll like it better tomorrow when I can really play with it!
By the way, if you guys could pray for me, that'd be great; I'm going to be babysitting ALL. DAY. for a woman who just had surgery for three days - she has three little children. So...it'll be a test of nerves for me. :)
Please do, if you will!
And PLEASE, don't forget to pray for the people in Japan...
Always Fighting,

Update on Japan
I'm sure most of you are keeping up on the aftermath of the quake and tsunami in Japan, but I want to post some stuff up here, too.
All pictures are from Fox News and the video from YouTube.
Please, please be praying for these people. This is absolutely horrible...but we know that it's the Lord's doing, and He did it for a purpose...perhaps to bring many to Him and send a wake-up call to Japan.
Please stay updated on this as much as you possibly can, and send in donations wherever possible. Fox News has a "How to Help" article, and you can go there to donate to different organizations.
I want to be over there helping so bad, it's about to drive me crazy - but I can't. Just like lots of you can't. The most we can do is pray HARD, donate, and see if we can get more people in on this. I've started a "Prayer Chain: Japan" - Please subject your e-mails under that title and send them out fast and thick.
This is all in God's hands....He knows what He's doing, though it's so hard for us to understand.
Don't forget those in Japan....

*Collapes*
Whew!!!
What a day! Mama and I went out for a day in Winston-Salem, and boy did we SHOP! I got some great outfits, including an adorable cap, and a dress for the High-Tea at the Father/Daughter Retreat. I also got some black sandals and Fila tennis shoes.
Also...uh...I got my first kiss today.... 0.0
It happened in Chik-Fil-A...
We were sitting there by the window, and the guy in the "cow" costume was walking around, shaking people's hands and waving. Without warning, and picking ME, of all girls in that place, came over, gave me a pat on the head, gave me a hug, and then KISSED me!!! ...TWICE! (Naturally, everyone was laughing...) He then walked away, simply waved at another girl, (why didn't he kiss her instead!?), and then picked up a vase of Irises that were on the table, and brought them BACK to me, and then hugged me again! AH! It was absolutely hilarious, but I was blushing so bad my face got hot, and soon after he left, I got up and ran into the bathroom to laugh and catch my breath. UHG! What an experience! As soon as I got in the car, I called my Best Friend and told her all about it. She happily exclaimed, "So your first kiss was by a cow!" =D =D =D
It was...interesting, to say the least! Mama was teasing me about it on the way back, and said, "Now you'll never look at a cow the same way again!"
Nope. I won't!
Anyway - before that, we had stopped at a Star Bucks and I got a peppermint mocha, which made me kinda sad, actually, because it reminded me SO much of meeting my Best Friend at a Star Bucks in November and she had made me try her peppermint mocha - which I got hooked on. =) It was really nice, though. Let's see...we went to a Goodwill store, Plato's Closet, (which was VERY pop-ish,) Wal-Mart, a really big shoe store where I spotted some cute red shoes by a brand called "Lollipop", and bought my Fila tennis shoes, and...that was about it. But we were gone all day. Oh, and we went to Khol's.
It was FUN! So, here's the pictures of my loot. Enjoy!

It'll Be Random.....
This is me and my Dragon. I've had him since I was very little. He's cute - his sense of style is slightly wild, though, as you can see. He's a little on the ditzy side, but still lovable. I like my Dragon. For a while I wanted to get rid of him because I though he was crazy, but, as I sat on the floor going through my old Beanie Babies, I picked him up, gazed at him a few minutes, and realized it would be a heart breaker to send that adorable, multi-colored Baby away. He was too cute to let go!
Okay, that was a little on the random side, but...I wanted to tell an old story, so I did. =)
Today's been pretty good...a little lonely, though. It was just me, myself and I.
I cleaned the quiet house, and decided it was TOO quiet, so first I sang at the top of my lungs (huh! They probably heard me at the top of the world!), and then I put in my Epic Score CD, turned it up loud, and as I scrubbed away at pots and pans, envisioned scenes that would be soooo cool put to that music.
Then I folded clothes, and naturally, chatted with the imagined characters sitting on the couch or helping me to put the towels away. That was fun... :)
Then I decided to make some cookies. Peanut butter cookies. It would be nice for them to come home and find freshly baked cookies, I thought. So, I went to work...this time pretending that I was making them with my best friend and having a blast. (Call me crazy, I know!!! But hey, what do you expect when there's no one else to talk to???)
I've also been keeping up with that tsunami that hit Japan all day - if you haven't heard about it, you need to go to Fox News and look. It's so sad. It was a huge tsunami off the coast of Japan, and then it hit Alaska and Hawaii, and parts of the West Coast. When mama woke me up this morning, after a bout of grumbling on my part, she said, "You need to come watch this video - a tsunami hit Japan." The first thing I said, after a moment of slight shock, was
"Are they alright?"
I got up and watched the videos. I wanted to cry. It was so sad. After we watched them for several minutes, mama said a prayer, and I had my emotional break down for the week. I cried. I had to. It wouldn't be right not to. It hurt.
Please pray for all of those people....so many have died and still will.
What will it take for them to wake up and realize that there is a God? This tsunami is huge, people - Japan, Alaska, Hawaii, now the West Coast.
....Please be praying for them.
