Nope....:(

Well, we didn't get any of 'em.....we almost got Liberty Bell, in fact, we won her, but then someone suddenly bid allot higher than we.
Buuuut, dad says that there might still be a chance that we could get her if the person backs down.
Anyways, just wanted to let you girls know, and thanks for the prayers.

P.S. Molly, Dolly, Golden Girl and Boston sold, so they now have happy homes.
Loved 'em all!!! <3

Announcement!

Alright girls, I'll be heading over to the Auction at 4:00 PM.
My mom and I went over early to look at the horses, and I got to ride Boston; he's nice, but I think that I fell in love with another: meet Molly, the 17-year-old Belgian Draft horse!
She's as gentle as a lamb, and so tall, that if I stretch my arms all the way, I c
an't even touch her

ear-tips! This picture does NOT do her justice!

Here's a picture that shows how tall a man is compared to a Belgian Draft:

These are some other horses that we're considering:

Boston: 4-year-old gelding Paint.

Dolly: 6-year-old Quarter Horse mare.

Golden Girl: 2-year-old Buckskin mare.

and Liberty Bell: 4-year-old Paint mare.

Please pray that we'll at least get one of them!

All The Pretty Little Ponies

All the Pretty Little Ponies: I have always loved that song, so I found this video to post on here.
It wasn't exactly the version of the song that I wanted (this one is from Flicka, if I'm not mistaken.)
Anyway, it was the only one that I could find.
Please comment!

Red Is Better!!!

YAAAAAY!!!
Red is better! He is now walking normal and is getting around good.
He's not limping, but when he puts his leg down to take a step, it's a bit wobbly...but who cares as long
as he's able to walk well??? :)
Thank you to the girls who put the previous post on their blogs!

Please Pray for My Horse Red.....

Hello girls,
Sorry about not posting the winners from the Picture Taking Contest....we've been rather busy:
yesterday, my dad and I went up to the barn that we are building to work, well, my horse, Red, seemed fine, perfectly normal. My
dad and I had to go and get some gates to put up in the barn, so all in all, we were gone for about an hour and a half.
When we got back, I walked around the side of the barn to get something, and Red was standin
g there, so I went over to pet him.
I noticed that he was holding his front leg kind of funny, so I started to rub it and lift it; he didn't mind, but he didn't walk either.
So I got some grass and held it up to him. He was hungry, so he walked forward to ge
t it...not good.
He could hardly walk; he kept his right foreleg bent forward when he walked, wouldn't straighten it up. Sooooo, we called the Vet. The Vet came out and said that he had hurt his knee somehow (which was very swollen; and he had had Arthritis every since we got him, and every now and again it would bother him but not this bad!)
She thought that he might have stepped in a hole or tripped or something.
She gave him a shot to calm him down and kill some of the pain.
Red
isn't much better today: he lays down allot and makes this really weird sound that's kind of like snoring. He drinks allot of water though, which is good.
Also, my horse Silkie has eaten too much clover and is suffering from massive slobber attacks. She just stands around and drools.
So please pray for my horses Red and Silkie: if 26 year old Red doesn't get better, he'll have to be put down, and I don't think that I could handle that.

Thanks!
-Rose
