Found!
Praise God, they found the mother and her son today in the woods.
All I know is that they're taking her and (I believe) the boy to the hospital.
Thank you for all of your prayers!

P.S. Please still feel free to comment on the "Requiem for a Dream" post, you still have till

The Sister of a Friend of Ours Is Missing...Please Pray
A sister of a friend of ours went missing yesterday morning.
She has a seven year-old son and went on foot into the woods early in the morning.
They have not seen her since and the second day of the search is coming to a close.
Please pray for the mother and her son and our friend and his wife.
Thanks.

Requiem for a Dream by X-Ray Dog....
Okay,
NOW I'm pleased with the comments on "Crusaders"!
Here are the results:

Hi Hannah,
I am so sorry that I did not post sooner I had started but something must of happened and it get closed because I had thought I had posted but guess not.
When I listen to the song since it is about the crusaders I think of them so first I see the crusader army marching through the desert hills with there armor and banners bravely streaming in the wind yet they stagger they are very weary with the hot sun beating down on them. Then up on a hill before them the enemy appears and charges down on them. It turns into a ragging battle as one army strives with the other then quickly the battle is over the enemy had ridden off as fast as they came it was but a raid to exhaust the crusaders more and the crusaders are left to look over the dead cover them with the sand and then with grim determination march on towards Jerusalem more exhausted and sad at the loss of more of there brave comrades. Then after there long day they start to brake for camp.
Maybe I have to much imagination but that is what I see when I hear it. I am glad you put it on I really like it.
I will try to be a bit more prompt in the future with my thoughts on your songs that you have up for judging.

Don't you absolutely hate it when only one person comments? I get that ALL THE TIME. :P
Anyway, I listened to the music... it was amazing!! It sounded like music from Lord of the Rings movies (if you've ever seen those). It was really nice. I enjoyed it! :)

Well, I think of Narnia or some other mythical battle thing. It really could change people's emotions in a movie. But I mostly saw the men lined up, glaring at their enemy, far away across the battlefield. And then bravely charging into battle. It reminds me so much of the battle in Narnia:The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe that that kind of thing crossed my mind instantly. Couldn't be helped, I guess.

Well, that's great! Keep 'em coming!
Okay, now, down to business; This band, X-Ray Dog, makes music for movie previews, and even though I don't particularly care for his band title, I love most of his music! My brother has asked me to post this song, "Requiem for a Dream" by these people, so here it is. Do as in the first post and scroll down to the bottom of the Playlist. This song is definitely 'battle music', and that is just one more reason why I'm not going to leave this song on here for more than a week.
One note, the movie, "Requiem for a Dream", should most certainly NOT be seen by Christian people!
I myself have not seen it and don't plan to, but I have read reviews on it, and a short summery is this:
Drug addicts and adult situations.
So please, do NOT see the movie! The music, I think is NOT worthy of the movie. My brother and I have a saying: "Bad movie, Good music!"
So, that's just a warning.
Oh, and before I forget, here's my review on "Crusaders" by Harry-Gregson Williams:
This music is a great piece, it definitely is leaned toward 'battle/action' scenes, but is also mournful in a way. The vocals at the beginning are low, therefore giving you the sad/mourning feel. As the song goes on, the vocals become higher and the drums start to kick in a bit more, giving it the 'battle/action' feel.
All in all, a VERY dramatic song (just my type!)
Hope you all enjoyed it!

Crusaders and Musical Mondays...
Hello again.
I must say, I was quite disappointed when only one person commented on my last post!
(*Crosses arms* Where are all you girls at anyway?!:)
You have two days left to post a comment about "Crusaders" by Harry-Gregson Williams, because on
Monday, I am going to put up another song (or pick one already on my playlist) for you to judge.
Every Monday, I hereby name "Musical Monday"! I will be posting new pieces of music and you will be the judge. i.e. Tell me what you think about that piece; what you see when you listen to it, how you feel when you hear it....just write it down on the comment forum!
PLEASE comment! :)
Thanks.

Crusaders by Harry-Gregson Williams
I like most of his music, and I just added one of his pieces-Crusaders- to the bottom of my
Playlist. Please scroll down to the bottom and click it; what do you envision? Let me know,
this is just a fun experiment that I'm playing with...music is VERY powerful, and I've decided to
do a test on my blog readers to get their opinions on the music; how it effects them and what they see
in their mind when listening to it.
I'm starting with "Crusaders" because, if you don't like it, I probably won't leave it on my blog
for long (even though I love this piece), it just doesn't seem fitting for this blog! :)
Next week I'll move on to the first piece of music at the top of the Playlist, so be sure to check back often!

Hurricane Ike and September 11th.

Just a note: Please pray for all of the people being hit by hurricane Ike.
A friend of mine (and possibly yours), Rebecca Martinez and her family are about thirty-five minutes
from Corpus, (at least that's what I gathered, I may be wrong,) so just keep them in your prayers.
Also, September the 11th, which was two days ago, was the 7th Anniversary o

I remember when it fell; mom and dad were watching the news all day, and of course, Nate and I had no clue what was going on. Then that night mom and dad sat us both down and explained, to give us an idea of how many people the police had counted dead, they took over 3,000 pennies and laid them out on our table.
Remember that something like this could happen again, so please pray that God would have mercy on our dieing nation!

Welcome To the Family Liberty Belle!!! (Pt. two)

"Bark! Bark bark bark!"
I jump up from the computer chair and run to the window.
"Is she here?!"
I thought in my mind.
Running to the laundry room, I look out the back window and see through the trees a

Running back to the living room, I call to my mom as I head out the door, "Mom! Liberty is here, go get dad and I'll head on up there!"
Throwing on my worn, black cow-boy boots, I ran up the drive-way to Mr. Evens, who was at the top with Liberty in her halter.
"Hello,"
I said, and immediately started stroking Liberty's black and white coat; it was soft.
Dad and Mom soon followed, and we took Liberty into the fence, where my

Liberty kicked out, sending Silkie into a frenzied kicking fit.
Both horses squealed and kicked at each other until they were put in their own places. Red first, Silkie second, and sadly, Liberty last.
I walked in the fence afterward and calmed all three nervous horses down. Liberty was a bit timid, but after a while she grew calmer and more confident.
Here are some pictures of her, she is very friendly and calm, but, of course, Silkie is being bossy and won't let her in the shed.
Also, we are to breed her in the Spring, which will be a very new experience for us!
Thank you all for your prayers! (And also pray that Silkie will stop being so bossy!:)

I am hearing…Keyboard, computer vent, Classical music, my mom talking to my Mae-ma.
Around the house…Fairly clean.

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week…Nothing much.
I accomplished since last week: Making a habit out of putting baby powder in my bed before I go to sleep! :P
(Off of Google....again...:)

Dear Hannah... What a powerful song!!!
This might seem funny, but I manly envisioned Queen Esther gathering the courage that she needed to stand before the king and beg for her peoples' lives.
What a great idea!

I think that is a really cool song! I totally envision a very passionate battle. And I can definitely see myself in the movie theater getting very scared listening to this song. I really do like it!......
